This utility lists Chinese phonetic groups containing a minimum number of characters and a maximum number of additions. This can be used to identify groups that are likely to be ripe for additions.

Another way to see locations for additions is by listing characters not yet in the underlying phonetics file. These can be generated for an arbitrary Unicode range.

A further way to inspect the data is to look for groups with at least one addition and a fixed number of characters orginally in the standard reference source. This can help with identifying characters that should be reassigned to a more comprehensive group.
